Hotel Cathlamet was built in 1926 as a hotel. It has been many things over the years and in 2010 it was converted back to a hotel. After undergoing major renovations, the Hotel Cathlamet is handicap accessible with each or our 19 rooms having a private bath. However, many original features and its historic charm remain! Centrally located on the middle of Main Street in Cathlamet, WA, it allows easy access to everything Wahkiakum County has to offer.

Cathlamet is well situated on scenic Hwy 4 on the gorgeous Columbia River.  It is less than an hour ride to Astoria (Oregon),  Long Beach (Washington) and an easy off-shoot from Highway 5.  Portland (Oregon) airport and Kelso/Longview (Washington) Amtrak are the major transportation hubs for our area followed by Seattle/Tacoma (Washington) airport. Whether traveling by car or bicycle while touring scenic Southwest Washington and the Pacific Northwest, plan on dropping by for a peaceful rest in our small rural town or spend some time enjoying outdoor adventures such as kayaking, hiking, biking, hunting, fishing or stroll and visit our region’s many historical monuments and sites.
